Marcus Davidsson | PhD

Postdoctoral fellow

I received my Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from Lund University in 2011. Shortly thereafter I joined Molecular Neuromodulation (MNM) to start a PhD under the supervision of Tomas Björklund. During my PhD I worked on developing novel methods for DNA barcoding, and how to apply this technique to study biological functions in the brain.

My main research interests focus on developing novel AAV capsids using DNA barcoding and how to utilize these vectors in clinical as well as preclinical applications.
