Patrick Aldrin-Kirk | MSc, PhD

PhD student in MNM until 2018

PhD thesis

On April 13, 2018 Patrick Aldrin-Kirk of the MNM team with great success defended his PhD thesis.

Titled "Dissection of basal ganglia circuitry and DA grafts in Parkinson’s disease using viral vectors" this thesis very nicely summarises the efforts in the MNM team to elucidate mechanisms behind multiple forms of dyskinesias in Parkinson's disease and furthers the field of chemogenetics. Thesis opponent was Vania Broccoli, San Raffaele Scientific Institute Milan, Italy. Congratulations Patrick!
