  •  The right application for the job, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat 
  •  Bézier curves 
  •  Geometric primitives and the pathfinder

 Note: For this section, bring a laptop if as all possible. PC or Mac does not matter. We will aid you to install a 30 day CS6 trial if you do not have it. 13.00-14.30 Included topics:

10.30-12.00 Display and discussion of participant assignments Annika Röhl and Tomas Björklund will pick a number of the submitted assignment figures for discussion of chosen techniques and the communication of the message

  •  Case study: Preparing Illustrations and photos for journal submission 
  •  Taking your illustrations one step further with gradients, transparency and beyond
